INFO
The most convenient way to access the shrine is by using the Seibu Kanko Bus express service. There are two parking areas: one at the summit and another at the foot of the mountain. Please be aware that the summit parking lot can fill up during peak seasons. As Mitake Shrine is located at an elevation of 1100 meters, the weather can be unpredictable. Be sure to dress accordingly. In winter, the roads can become snowy and icy, making studded snow tires essential.
