Overview

Ibaraki Flower Park is a vast theme park spanning approximately 30 hectares in Ishioka City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Opened on June 2, 1985, it was established to promote horticultural culture and attract tourists to Ishioka City, coinciding with the Tsukuba Expo '85. The park is divided into two areas: the Flower Park and the Fureai no Mori (Forest of Interaction), each offering unique attractions. In the Flower Park, the rose garden, boasting 30,000 rose bushes of 800 varieties, is a sight to behold. This rose garden is one of the largest in Eastern Japan, a must-see for rose lovers.
